You can browse SalamHub without an account, and we don't collect personal information just for visiting. If you create an account — with an email and password, or by signing in with Google, GitHub, or Discord — we store your name and email address through our authentication provider (Supabase).
While signed in, we save the actions you take so we can show them back to you and to the community: events you mark Going or Like, your status votes on whether an event was cancelled or rescheduled, and any issue reports you submit. Each of these is tied to your account. If you contact us via email, we receive only what you choose to send.
SalamHub aggregates publicly available information from community organization websites, Facebook pages, and other public sources. We scan these sources to compile event listings, prayer times, and directory information. All data comes from publicly accessible pages.
If your organization would like to be removed from our directory or have its information updated, please contact us.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers — no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel. If you sign in, we store a session token in your browser (local storage) so you stay logged in; clearing it or signing out removes it. Server logs may record standard access information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of normal web hosting.
Event and place pages embed Google Maps for location display, and we use Supabasefor account sign-in and to store the account activity described above. If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Discord, that provider handles your login. Each service's own privacy policy applies to its part. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time — just contact us.
